After spending all of my professional marketing and strategy consulting career advising global go-getters of all kinds, the time has come for me to jump into the entrepreneurship pool with both feet.
Since 1998, I have held one-on-one strategy sessions with probably over 400 driven individuals such as entrepreneurs, professionals, artists to name quite a few of the types of clients, I have advised on matters of strategy, branding, marketing, promotion and the good old crisis management.
I started my journey as an entrepreneur who spent most of his time analyzing and studying what works in business than actually working on my business. Soon enough, I realised that entrepreneurs of all sorts and ambitious professionals were turning to me for strategy and marketing guidance to help them get through the tumultuous times.
Fast forward a couple of months and I was making a full-time living as a strategy advisor while my side businesses became testing grounds for the business and marketing concepts recommended to my clients.
One of the dozens of side-projects that I have been toying around for over five years has been generating passive revenue and if seriously exploited can yield extra ordinary results.
Strategy consulting is a love that I will never give up but it’s really nothing but a job meaning that if I do not hold strategy sessions with current or new clients, I do not put money on the table. While, I am blessed enough to be able to live more than comfortably, business owners have an edge as they’re able to put their ventures in the hands of other while pursuing their life ambitions.
My product is in my brain and I cannot outsource it. Entrepreneurs can let experienced professionals manage their business while they check in from time to time to ensure that the ship is sailing smoothly.
This is where I want to be as I reach an important milestone in my life. I will pursue my entrepreneurial endeavors full-time from now on while my consulting practice takes a back seat. From now, I will only work with select current clients with whom I have forged some strong business and personal ties over the many years they have put their trust in my expertise.
This website will feature some business and life strategy blog columns that will just be written from 50-50 professional and personal perspective. (I deleted my previous blog by accident and although I have a backup on my computer, I have no idea how to put it online… if anyone can help, please help!)
What projects am I working on by the way?
Don’t worry, you will hear about them soon enough (if you’re smart enough you can just head over to Google and type in some obvious keywords!). Until then, please feel free to keep in touch at jeanbiri @ gmail dot com.
Be the smart one and thou shall prosper…
