2) Problem: Entrepreneurs sometimes need funds to bring their idea to life and onto the marketplace.
3) Solution: Providing them with the necessary capital for worthy ROI
Just had a conversation with an acquaintance who’s looking at becoming a business angel or angel investor. He was surprised to hear that he would have to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset to compete for the best investment opportunities.
Yes, just because investors have a large pool of capital does not mean that the world will be flocking to their doors. Of course, fund seekers will be knocking but to be able to grab those killer ideas is a tough battle in itself.
Investors (angels and VCs) are entrepreneurs too. At least those who realize that it’s a business just like any other.
